Happy Birthday, Ben!
Ben, our solstice baby, is now 2 years old today! It's amazing how fast he's grown. It's true what they say - the days are long but the years are short. This is what Ben looked like when he was three days old:
This is what he looks like today on his second birthday.
Ben's talking a lot. He speaks fairly complete toddler sentences: "Daddy, let's go upstairs and play with trains".
He knows all of the Winnie the Pooh characters by name, and the names of a few dozen types of animals too. He's strong-willed; nowadays he has to get things done the way he wants them to be. We're working on teaching him how to compromise, and what it means for something to happen 'later'.

> He's strong-willed
is he also strongly typed? (ha ha, couldn't control myself, sorry)
Lovely name for a lovely kid.
Did ya know that 'Ben' in Hebrew means "Boy", or "Son"?
Happy birthday Ben :)

my first kid is just born - your post made me realise how fast they grow (well, faster than we think!)
Happy birthday to Ben!
